What better way to get warm during this cold snap than a long hot soak in the bath? Here are four of the best bath products to help you sink deep and unwind, according to me.
Neal’s Yard Aromatic Foaming Bath – perfect for 30 minutes downtime, the scent of this oil is rich in lavender, with marjoram and geranium, which instantly has a calming effect on the mind. Infused with herbs and essential oils, it leaves your skin feeling soft and soothed.
£15.50 for 200ml from Neal’s Yard.
Laura Mercier Crème Brulee Honey Bath – this has featured in a previous blog, 10 things that make me smile, and that’s because it is truly amazing! For starters, the product comes with a honey dipper to allow for just the right amount to be added to running water to create gentle, soft and fragrant bubbles, without using up too much at once. The fragrance is sweet from French vanilla, caramel and white musk, and is typical of the signature Laura Mercier scent, and vitamins A and E condition the skin.
£33 for 300g from Space NK
Blooming Gorgeous Bath Fizzers – these bath bombs come in little wrappers shaped like Easter eggs contained in a cardboard egg carton – how cute. The smell of these is fresh and when you drop them under the water they gently fizz, leaving tiny bubbles that release more of the sweet scent when they burst. Good fun. £varies from Asda
Green & Spring Indulging Light Bath Oil – similar to the Neal’s Yard foaming bath, this oil has a relaxing floral fragrance composed of rose and chamomile. The oil feels nourishing and leaves the skin feeling moisturised but not at all greasy. This bath oil is part of the Indulging range which has been inspired by English country gardens – delightful – of which all the products are handmade and paraben free. £24 for 100ml direct from Green and Spring
I’m off to run a bath and grab a good book ; )
