I love this time of year! We’re officially on the Christmas countdown, it’s my birthday at the end of the month (November), and because we’re in the festive season the shops are full of super amazing products and gifts, meaning I never struggle to compile a wish list of gifts.
Before I go into the items that I have my eyes on, I just wanted to add a disclaimer. I do not expect to receive any or all of these, nor do I ask my friends or family to purchase any of the below for me. I truly love a surprise and honestly believe in the thought that counts. I’d almost always trade in any of the gifts listed for something thought-out and sentimental, which could simply be time spent with my nearest and dearest doing something for us to all enjoy.
Saying that… there is no harm in admiring the many fantastic beauty products and lusting after items for my wardrobe, and I’m allowed to treat myself, right?!
Topshop Jamie jeans – a staple for my wardrobe! I don’t shop anywhere else for jeans as I know I can walk into the store or go online and know exactly what size I need, and guarantee that they fit well. I have lost count of the number of Topshop jeans I have had but I can never have too many, besides I pretty much live in them outside of work. Right now I’m lacking a steady pair of black jeans, so number one for my wish list is the Moto Black Ripped Jamie Jeans (RRP = £42).
By Terry Ombre Blackstar Colour-Fix Eyeshadow – I first heard about the colour-fix eyeshadow sticks after watching a vlog by beauty blogger, Tanya Burr. I find myself drawn to these every time I visit Space NK and have pretty much swatched all of the colours on my arm a dozen times but have never taken the plunge to purchase one. They cost £29 each, hence why I’ve not treated myself (yet). The colours I like most are Blond Opal, Frozen Quartz and Ombre Mercure.
Laura Mercier Ambre Vanillé Soufflé Body Crème – the smell of this scent is just divine. Roughly 18 months ago I was lucky enough to get a travel size of the body crème in my BirchBox and I have been in love ever since. As you can imagine, the travel size was quickly used up and I’ve not yet replaced this with a full size, though my Dad did get me the full-size Creme Brûlée honey bath last Christmas, which is delightful. The smell of the body crème is distinctly Laura Mercier it has the scent of vanilla, tangerine and brown sugar. I vividly recall being on a flight to Kos last summer and using this on the plane and the women next to me asked what it was as it smelt so fantastic.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Palette – this is an ultimate lust after product and one that I peer at through the windows of Liberty in London. It has many big name beauty bloggers as fans. It’s not cheap at £65 for the powders, blushes and a bronzer palette but it truly is beautiful and would make any beauty fanatic seriously happy.
Larsson and Jennings Rose Gold Watch – this beautiful watch is – excuse the pun – is timeless, and it costs £225, which I think is worth it. I’d also happily accept the gold version as a gift, ha, just saying!
NutriBullet – with our wedding just over six months away, I feel like I need to really give myself a health kick. And January tends to be a good time to start as you’re surrounded by motivational messages and friends having a dry month etc. Having a Nutribullet would mean no excuse not to whip up smoothies and fresh home-made soups but it does cost about £80 so not cheap.
Christmas PJs – last but not least who doesn’t love a new and snuggly pair of Christmas PJs? I would definitely love to receive these under the tree. I’m dreaming of spending the festive break in these M&S Stag Print Cuffed Hem Fleece PJ Bottoms (RRP £12.50) coupled with the Hooded Tatty Teddy PJ Top (RRP £29.50 for top and bottoms). I feel warm and cosy just looking at these.
There are many more things that I lust after as you can see from the screen grabs, to view these in full, head on over to my Pinterest Wish List board.
